Too bad.Ĭlick Here to see more reviews about: Turtle Beach Montego DDL 7.1 Sound Card Now that I have Windows 7 64-bit this card has become obsolete. Turtle Beach is not releasing 64-bit drivers for this card. C'mon people, moveto Xp or Vista, it's 2007 after all. The Santa Cruz card had a versa jack, what were they thinking on the Montego?īTW, I can't see why anyone would have IRQ installation issues.unless they are still using Windows 95 or 98. This means you have to climb under your desk and replug every time you want to switch from speakers to a set of headphones. One nearly fatal flaw is that there is only a single front speaker line-out jack on the card. I found the sound quality even better than the Santa Cruz which was unexpected, the install process was flawless. It has very low s/n and Turtle Beach considers it an audiophile-grade card, a feature few companies are willing to promote. ( More customer reviews)I have used Turtle Beach's Santa Cruz card for several years and just upgraded to this one.
